MeetingPulse Did It Up at Collision Conference!
By Liz Holland on

The MeetingPulse team recently returned from the fourth annual Collision Conference in New Orleans. We had a great time networking, seeing the city, and enjoying live music during Jazz Fest!

MeetingPulse team members came far and wide – from New York to Austin to Scotland – to share our vision, enthusiasm, and positivity with the design and tech world! Sean, Liz, Robert, Leslie, and Peter had an incredible time as a team. We were so pleased to have so much fun while doing our MeetingPulse thing… and to meet so many people inspired to bring MeetingPulse into their work and professional lives!

Hosted by Web Summit, the Collision Conference drew in a diverse mix of CEO’s, industry leaders, influencers, investors, and startup founders. In addition, an astronaut, a basketball star, and the world memory champion were in attendance. A wide range of attendees from the tech and design industries came from near and far to network, collaborate, learn from each other, and enjoy New Orleans together during Jazz Fest.

From NASA to Columbia University, our team shared our vision and planned new collaborations with a wide variety of exciting well-known organizations. We couldn’t be happier! In addition, our CTO Sean treated our team to platters of crawfish and raw oysters in the middle of a crashing New Orleans thunderstorm. Later, we walked down Bourbon Street and explored the music and art fairs of Frenchmen Street. We couldn’t imagine a better way to grow as a company, meet new inspiring connections, and expand our horizons in every possible way.

Leslie, our UK rep was interviewed for the radio (with his wonderful Scottish accent). And here’s our CTO Sean being interviewed by an e-news reporter with Peter, our head of product, standing by for moral support!

We highly recommend the Collision Conference both for networking purposes – and for an incredibly good time. New Orleans is a hot bed of unique history and culture. From haunted restaurants to lush gardens… canal walks along the south’s version of the French Riviera to colorful pink and purple houses… there’s so much to love and discover.

Come join us next year in 2018! Collision was both exhausting and exhilarating – an incredible opportunity not to be missed. We are still recovering from the massive amount of inspiration and excitement New Orleans had in store for us; at the same time, we simply can’t wait for next year’s conference!
